In an incident reported from East Maredpally, a moving car caught fire on Sunday. The incident occurred near the Rail Nilayam in the afternoon.
There were four passengers in the car, including two elderly people at the time of the accident. The passengers escaped unhurt. A video of the incident was shared on the Twitter. The accident occurred near the rifle range mosque. The passengers were returning after a visit to the railway hospital where their relatives are undergoing treatment.
As the vehicle approached the mosque, smoke erupted from the car. Tukaram Gate Inspector of Police, R Yellappa said, “A case has been registered as a fire accident. The passengers noticed smoke and deboarded the car, which was completely engulfed by the fire.”
