KCR pulls up BRS MLAs ignorant about Govt schemes

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao pulled up MLAs for their lack of knowledge of BRS government schemes.

The CM pulled up some MLAs reportedly from the Nalgonda and Rangareddy districts and asked them about government schemes. The leaders couldn’t answer properly.

The CM made it clear that this must change and ordered the MLAs to focus on promoting the schemes. The MLAs were ordered to stay in their constituencies for 21 days in a month.

“We have established more gurukulas than any other state in the country. When I was Siddipet MLA, I went back hundreds of times for a residential college but the college did not come. Now we have established 1001 Gurukulas, unlike anywhere else in the country. This should be publicised,” he said.

During the meeting, KCR gave several instructions to public and party representatives.

“We do not speak much about what we have done. We need to speak about it a lot more. The 10th anniversary celebrations should be organised magnificently. Representatives at all levels including MLAs, MPs and BRS representatives must participate in this,” KCR said.

He said that it was said during the TS movement that Telangana will become rich. Today 100 per cent TS has become a rich state, the CM added.

“We have made 3,400 tribal tandas and Gondugudela into Gram Panchayats. We are not speaking about fitting meters on farm pumps which caused us a loss of Rs 25,000 crore. That is our commitment to farmers. SCCL is part of the Telangana family. In 10 years the Rs 12,000 crore turnover of the SCCL became Rs 33,000 crore to Rs 34,000 crore. The MLAs of constituencies near SCCL should speak of this,” the CM said.
