The BRS is carrying out multiple surveys and passing on feedback to its leaders. The party is getting done around four surveys including Intelligence reports.
Interestingly a team which worked in IPAC is also doing surveys. The team which worked with IPAC earlier is now working separately with the BRS conducting surveys without any links with the political strategy organisation.
Based on this, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said earlier this week that 95 to 105 seats will be won.
“Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said at the meeting that all sitting MLAs will get seats. Unlike the earlier meeting where the CM went ballistic against leaders, this time, he toned it down. He didn’t speak about negative reports strategically as they might leave. But surveys will keep going on,” sources said.
Some of these surveys have reported not only about sitting MLAs but potential rebels too. Sources said that to keep tabs on how rebels are performing feedback is being given to those leaders also.
“I am watching everything closely,” the CM had said. He told Ministers to stop rushing here and there.
“The CM said that ministers and MLAs are focussed on inaugurals and laying foundation stones. He asked them to stop and talk to party people,” sources said.
BRS leaders are also getting their own surveys done. Sources who are surveying for BRS legislators said, “Recently many leaders contacted us asking to conduct a survey in their constituency. As elections are nearing, we are expecting more such requests. Currently, we are doing surveys in districts. In the city, it is not gaining momentum. There are only one or two requests. Some of the leaders have their tickets confirmed. In these areas, there are not many requests. Where there are rebels we have demand,” sources said.
