Decennial celebrations BRS show: Revanth

TPCC President Revanth Reddy said that the BRS is conducting TS decade celebrations as if it was its own business creating inconveniences for the people. He said that all officials from the village level are fully engaged in serving the BRS. He advised BRS activists to seriously take the promises made by KCR to the people.

Revanth clarified that there will be Congress protests to remind people of the government’s failures. Speaking at a media conference at the Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad on Saturday, Revanth said that Shabbir Ali will be the convener of the Political Affairs Committee. He said that many proposals have been received regarding mandal committees and that all mandal committees will be set up within 10 days.

Revanth wants to hold protest rallies in 119 constituencies on June 22. He said that they will burn an effigy of KCR looking like Ravanasura with 10 failures. Revanth wants to submit the petition at RDO or MRO offices.

He said CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka’s padayatra will end by June-end. He explained that they are planning to hold a grand closing meeting with national leaders in Khammam. He said that they would also like to hold a closing meeting in consultation with Bhatti. Revanth said that eminent film director B. Narsinga Rao is a socially conscious person and that KTR has no right to insult Telangana poets and artists. He said that they must be given an appointment.

KCR insulted the families of Telangana Martyrs. Revanth said that even after 10 years, even 600 martyrs could not be identified. If there is a proposal for a second capital, it will be discussed in the party and a decision will be taken. Revanth demanded to know whether revenue goes to the Central Government or to the state. He said that a decision will be taken on this issue after extensive discussions.

He said that KCR also worked hard for the JDS to split the Congress in Karnataka. He praised the people of Karnataka for acting wisely. He said that BRS is like the BJP in Karnataka pocketing 30 per cent commission.

He said that he feels ashamed to talk about Bellampally MLA and wondered how he is sitting next to KCR.

‘BRS, Cong to get 45 seats each’

Hyderabad: TPCC President Revanth Reddy revealed details of the recent party-wise survey in Telangana. According to his survey, the BRS will get 37 per cent, Congress 34 per cent and BJP 14 per cent, he said. He said that there is a possibility of the BRS getting 45 seats, Congress 45, and the BJP and the AIMIM getting seven seats each. In a chit chat with journalists, Revanth explained that there will be tough fights in 15 more seats. He said that the BJP’s vote percentage which was earlier 24 per cent has fallen to 14 per cent. He said that the Congress position will improve by the time of elections.
