Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has planned a grand finale for the Decennial Celebrations.
This includes inaugurating the 2BHK houses built for the poor, the Medha Rail Coach Factory, laying the foundation stone for a super speciality hospital in Sangareddy and the inauguration of the Martyrs’ Memorial Centre.
The CM will inaugurate at 10.30 am the double-bedroom houses built in Kollur. After reaching Kondakal he will start the Medha Railway Coach Factory and address factory employees there.
Official sources said the Decennial Celebrations received a good response in districts compared to cities. A senior official said, “In districts, there was a huge response. Providing facilities and gathering lakhs of people without any incident is a big achievement. Who would have thought of celebrating the ponds festival in summer? The social and digital media wing couldn’t cash on it, but we were able to reach out to people on the ground.”
Later, at 12.30 pm, KCR will lay the foundation stone of the super speciality hospital at Patan Cheru and it will be followed by a public meeting. In the evening, all Telangana Martyrs will be honoured by illuminating the Martyrs’ Memorial.
The CM will conduct the lighting ceremony at the Telangana Martyrs Memorial – Amara Deepam.’ It will remember the spirit of the sacrifices made by the people of Telangana for creating the state and will burn forever. The ‘Amara Deepam’ built by the state government will be lit brightly every day on the banks of Hussainsagar.
Telangana leaders and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will light the grandly constructed ‘Amarula Samarkam. Amara Deepam’ on June 22 which will mark the end of Telangana decennial celebrations.
