Bharatiya Janata Party Telangana unit president Bandi Sanjay has accused Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of deriving personal benefits by raking up the Telangana sentiment. Sanjay alleged that KCR had reposed confidence in Congress leaders rather than in BRS candidates “because KCR runs the Congress and feels that the leaders in Congress belong to him”.

Bandi Sanjay alleged that the Congress and the BRS had selected 30 candidates from the Congress for the first phase.

“KCR is funding those 30 Congress candidates as they will join BRS after winning from the Congress party”, Bandi said.

Therefore, Bandi Sanjay reasoned, joining Congress would mean extending cooperation to the BRS party. He asked the leaders working to defeat KCR to help people by making a proper decision on joining political parties.

Bandi Sanjay said that CBI and the ED were busy in collecting perfect evidence to see that liquor scam culprits would not escape from the dragnet of law.

Speaking to media persons at Karimnagar while participating in ‘Intintiki BJP’ program on Thursday, Bandi Sanjay said that KCR did not pay tributes to Telangana martyrs. He alleged that KCR, who did not care for martyrs during the last nine years, was trying to take people for a ride by spending Rs.1,000 crore on publicity.
