KCR to parade BRS strength in Solapur

BRS President Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to travel 300 km by road to Solapur in Maharashtra to give a taste of Telangana politics to Maharashtrians.

KCR will travel with a huge convoy of Ministers, MLAs, MLCs and other public representatives for a two-day tour. BRS public representatives from Maharashtra districts bordering Telangana would participate in the exercise in a big way. Around 1,000 vehicles would accompany KCR to Solapur.

KCR created a sensation by going to New Delhi by road with a huge convoy during the Telangana movement and succeeded in drawing the attention of the nation to the Telangana movement.

KCR will start from Hyderabad at 10.30 am on Monday for Solapur and will reach there by evening. KCR will have breakfast at the Pragathi Bhavan with BRS public representatives accompanying him to Solapur.

After reaching Solapur, KCR will have a darshan of Vitaleshwara and conduct special poojas. Later, KCR will attend a party program in Solapur. On this occasion, Solapur leader Bhagiratha Balke and other leaders would join the BRS.

KCR will stay on Monday night at Solapur. It is learnt that KCR will meet handloom workers from Telangana in Solapur.

On Tuesday, KCR would conduct special poojas in Pandharpur Vithoba Rukmini Mandir. Later, KCR will have darshan of Shakti Peeth Tulja Bhavani Ammavaru in Darashiv district and conduct special poojas. KCR will return from Darashiv to Hyderabad by road.

It is learnt that KCR is happy as a BRS candidate became the Sarpanch of Savkheda gram panchayat in Gangapur of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar district.With this victory, KCR has decided to widen his party’s footprint further in Maharashtra thinking that it is the right time.

It may be recalled that KCR has already visited Maharashtra four times. He went to Nanded (February 5), Kandhar Loha (March 14), Nanded (May 19) and Nagpur (June 15).

KCR has been directing Maharashtra leaders to speak on why the Telangana model of development is possible in Maharashtra.

KCR would go to Maharashtra again to open BRS offices in Aurangabad and Pune soon. KCR wants to widen his party’s reach first in Maharashtra and later across the nation.
