The tale of a rebellious daughter of a legislator is doing rounds the Cherial town. The daughter of the legislator rebelled against his alleged corrupt practices. She even confronted him publicly and questioned him about his alleged encroachment of land.
The legislator is none other than Janagam MLA Muthireddy Yadagiri Reddy. His daughter Tulja Bhavani Reddy launched a tirade against her father. She exposed her father‘s misdeed in getting 1,270 yards of encroached land at Pedda Chevur Muthadi illegally registered in her name.
Tulja Bhavani Reddy on Sunday in full public view pulled down the compound wall of the land and declared that she would hand over the land to the District Collector. “It is illegal to do so. The land was registered in my name without my knowledge,” she observed.
She further said that she had decided to transfer the land to the district administration so that it would be not illegally registered in the name of anyone in future. It was unbecoming of a 70-year-old politician, who is a two-time MLA to resort to illegal activities, she said.
“My father was worth Rs 1,000 crore even before he became MLA. He is earning over Rs 1 crore through rent a month. Why should he resort to such illegal activities,” he wondered. “Those, who grab other’s properties, will invite public wrath,” Tulja Bhavani Reddy felt.
