The Congress has already finalised candidates in 60 Assembly constituencies, the lone Congress MLC, T. Jeevan Reddy said and added that the candidates have already started their campaign.
He said that the party will announce their names soon and that purchasing Congress MLAs is history.
The Congress has been doing its job of selecting candidates meticulously away from public eyes after conducting a series of surveys. The party is also trying openly to attract leaders from other political parties apart from the ‘Ghar Wapsi’ campaign to bring back leaders who left it.
The party has been implementing the strategies it implemented in Karnataka.
Speaking to the media on Monday, Jeevan said that the BRS is now a sinking ship and that BRS leaders who kept Prime Minister Modi away when he came to Hyderabad fell at the feet of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
He said that the BRS and the BJP were playing a hide-and-seek game all these days but now their dramas have come out after the Delhi trip of BRS leaders.
