Tentative seniority list will be displayed tomorrow

The School Education Department has issued guidelines and a schedule to give adhoc promotions to Headmasters Grade-2 and School Assistants (other than first and second languages) of ZP and government schools from School Assistants to HM and Secondary Grade to School Assistants within the management. For that, the State government will display the tentative seniority list on June 30.
School Education Department Commissioner S Suresh Kumar issued guidelines in this regard through circulars on Wednesday. For the post of Grade-2 Headmasters, counselling will be conducted on July 4, while for the post of School Assistants, counselling will be conducted on July 5.
According to Commissioner Suresh Kumar, Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State would conduct promotion counselling as per the schedule. He made it clear that the promotions would be purely on an adhoc basis.
As per the schedule, the tentative seniority list for the post of Grade-2 Headmasters and School Assistants would be displayed on June 30. Also, the department will receive objections on the seniority lists from HMs from July 1 to 2, and objections for SAs from July 1 to 3.
The final seniority list of HMs will be displayed on July 3, while that of School Assistants, on July 4. However, counselling for the posts of Grade-2 Headmasters and SAs (other than first and second languages) will be conducted on July 4 and July 5, respectively.
As per the schedule, after the completion of the counselling, Grade-2 HMs will report to their new places on July 5 and SAs, on July 6.
