Referring to TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena supremo Pawan Kalyan as non-resident politicians, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that they have no understanding of social justice.

“Both of them do not reside in our State, and if someone wishes to see them, a trip to the neighbouring State is necessary,” he said, highlighting their disconnect from the people.

Addressing a public meeting after laying the foundation stone for Chittoor Dairy in Chittoor on Tuesday, Jagan Mohan Reddy said Naidu fled from Chandragiri to Kuppam, and his adopted son Pawan Kalyan frequently visits Andhra during his leisure time, coming from other States.

While the government is constructing houses for the poor in Kuppam, Naidu is contemplating building a house there, 40 years after his political career began, at a time when the people are getting ready to bid farewell to him, the Chief Minister remarked.

Pawan Kalyan, who supported the TDP’s policy of looting, hoarding, and consuming, has once again joined forces with the TDP, attempting to deceive the people with false promises before the elections, hoping that people have short memories, he said.

The combination of these individuals is spreading falsehoods with the backing of friendly media, he added, urging the people not to be misled. “I do not have supportive media or alliances. I rely on you and God,” he said.

Encouraging the people to reflect on why the TDP failed to implement welfare schemes, while the current government has spent Rs.2.23 lakh crores through DBT welfare schemes in the past four years, the Chief Minister urged them to support the YSRCP in the upcoming elections if they feel they have benefited from the welfare programmes.
