Continuing his ferocious attack against the voluntary system, Jana Sena chief K Pawan Kalyan has announced that his party will approach the court against it and wondered why people should give their personal details to the volunteers.
“Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has created a new institution parallel to the Indian Constitution by establishing the voluntary and secretariat systems. Why should people give their personal details to the volunteers?” Pawan Kalyan asked while addressing the party cadre in Denduluru and Unguturu on Tuesday. Pawan Kalyan vowed to cripple the volunteer system and asked the YSRCP leaders why they did not respond to the missing girls.
A ‘Jagan Mohan Reddy’ was created for every 50 houses in the form of volunteers, he said, and added that his friend’s daughter went missing in Hyderabad. When he contacted his police friend, he told him that the missing girl must be traced in 24 hours otherwise the chances of finding her would be reduced to 50%. Finally, the girl was found in the Kamathipura red-light area in Mumbai, he said.
The 50 families in the jurisdiction of a volunteer in villages should follow what he dictates. All personal data should be given to him. It turned into a Jagan Mohan Reddy for every 50 families, he ridiculed. The bank account details and PAN card details were taken by the volunteers, he alleged.
“In order to divert the issue, the YSRCP leaders have launched attacks on him personally and also abused me personally,” he lashed out. He recalled that when allegations were levelled that Pegasus spyware was hired to collect data of political leaders it was vehemently opposed across the country, and on the same lines, the data of people were collected by volunteers in AP. He asked the volunteers where they stored the collected data of people. The volunteer system is extending support to the anti-socials, he lambasted.
“We will launch a legal battle against the volunteer system. The volunteer system is detrimental to people and Jagan Mohan Reddy is detrimental to the state. Why should people be scared of evil forces like Jagan Mohan Reddy,” Pawan Kalyan said, and at the same time, he made it clear that he is not against the volunteers.
