The AP Medical Services Recruitment Board has issued a notification to fill 590 Assistant Professor positions in 41 specialties and subspecialties under the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) in the State Medical Department. The recruitment will be conducted through direct and lateral entry procedures. Interested candidates can apply online starting from July 17, and the last date for submission of online applications is July 26.
The application fee for OC candidates is Rs 1000, while SC, ST, BC, EWS, and disabled candidates need to pay Rs 500.
In addition to the above vacancies, the government has approved the establishment of five new medical colleges, along with the filling of medical positions in the newly established Kadapa Mental Hospital, Palasa Kidney Research Centre, and several superspeciality hospitals.
The recent notification aims to fill these positions. Under CM Jagan’s administration, the government has made significant efforts to ensure that no vacant posts remain in government hospitals, resulting in the recruitment of over 50,000 individuals.
