YSRCP State general secretary and Advisor to the Government (Public Affairs), Sajjala Ramakrishna, has reiterated Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s vision of achieving a remarkable victory in the upcoming Assembly elections. The party aims to secure all 175 seats in the state.
Addressing a teleconference on Sunday, Sajjala stressed the importance of ensuring the accuracy of the voter list modification programme. He called for the removal of fake votes and the inclusion of eligible voters. He said, “It is crucial to effectively communicate the government’s favourable decisions on assigned lands and dot lands to the public. With only nine months left until the elections, every day counts for the party. Party observers should actively engage as negotiators for MLAs and coordinators. The Opposition is making efforts to defame and intimidate our volunteers. We must counter their negative campaign and boost our confidence.”
Sajjala pointed out that during the TDP’s rule from 2014 to 2019, there were attempts to manipulate the system and voter lists in their favour by adding fake and duplicate votes. He instructed party members to thoroughly examine these issues at the booth level and identify fake votes, which should be reported to the Election Commission.
The YSRCP AP general secretary also urged party booth committee in-charges and house managers to conduct regular reviews. He clarified that the opposition’s campaign to energise their cadre in anticipation of early elections was unfounded.
Expressing concern, Sajjala cautioned against the actions of Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, who are attempting to disrupt the positive environment created by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Their objective is to sow confusion and undermine public satisfaction with the government.
ajjala urged YSRC leaders and members to establish dedicated teams at the constituency level to counter the opposition’s malicious propaganda on social media and YouTube channels. He emphasised the importance of providing people with the truth, supported by evidence, to counter the opposition’s daily propaganda.
Recognising the effectiveness of the Volunteer system, introduced by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, Sajjala highlighted its role in bringing government schemes closer to the people. He noted that the TDP and JS parties have intensified their hostility towards Volunteers through a campaign of misinformation.
As a result, Sajjala called on party members to respond to the negative campaign targeting the Volunteers.
