Senior TPCC Vice-President Mallu Ravi said that the Congress will not change TPCC President Revanth Reddy like the BJP removed Sanjay from his post in the Telangana BJP unit listening to BRS supremo Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
He said that Revanth Reddy is pro-Dalit, pro-tribal, pro-minority and pro-BC. The BRS has been engaging in anti-Congress moves as it cannot digest the popularity of the Congress, Mallu Ravi said.
Addressing the media at the Gandhi Bhavan on Tuesday, he said that there won’t be any murders in politics but only ‘suicides’ and that BRS leader Dasoju Sravan belongs to that category.
He said that Dasoju Sravan is still having the delusion that he is in the Congress and had sent a letter to the AICC against TPCC President Revanth Reddy.
Mallu Ravi said that the habit of mocking political opponents belongs to KCR. KCR is a post-graduate in mocking opponents, he said. “KCR had mocked Union Tourism Minister G. Kishan Reddy saying that he was a ‘Randa’ and a waste,” he said.
He said that the BRS had dug its own well on the free power supply issue as it has been proved that the BRS government is not supplying 24-hour free power.
TPCC official spokesperson Boreddy Ayodya Reddy said that Dasoju Sravan had levelled allegations against Revanth Reddy with his ribald mouth.
He recalled that Dasoju had mocked KCR and IT Minister KT Ramarao when he was in the Congress. He said that Dasoju Sravan had joined the PRP, the BRS, the Congress, the BJP and then returned to the BRS. He said that Dasoju joined the BRS at a time when the Congress is likely to come to power.
He said that the Congress had honoured Dasoju by making him the AICC’s official spokesperson.
