Sitting BRS MLAs are most likely to be changed in a majority of reserved constituencies. Bellampalli, Khanapur, Station Ghanpur, Manakodur, Zahirabad and Cantonment are among the SC seats which may see change. There will be changes in Dornakal, Mahbubabad, Mulug and Yellandu too.

Balka Suman from Chennur, Hanmanth Shinde from Jukkal, Koppula Eshwar from Dharmapuri, Kranthi Kiran from Andole, Kale Yadaiah from Chevella, Guvvala Balaraju from Achampet, Gadari Kishore Kumar from Thungathurthi, Aroori Ramesh from Wardhannapet and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah from Sathupally will get tickets in SC constituencies.

Dr Thatikonda Rajaiah and Durgam Chinniah have become controversial over sexual harassment charges.

There has been internal bickering in Manakondur over Rasamayi Balakishan.

In Zahirabad, there are two contenders, Erolla Srinivas and the recently joined Erupulla Narottam. Sources indicate that Erupulla Narottam joined the BRS as he was assured a ticket. However, sources close to Erolla who is Harish Rao’s aide claim he also has chances for contesting.

When Singer Sai Chand was alive, there were chances of changing VM Abraham from Alampur, but due to the untimely demise of the former, the latter may get a chance again.

In Cantonment, after incumbent MLA Sayanna’s demise, there is a tussle between Lasya Nanditha who is Sayanna’s daughter, Krishank Manne and Gajjela Nagesh. Sayanna’s daughter, however, seems to have angered the high command as she issued statements against the party.

Among ST constituencies, BRS is keen on winning Mulug. BRS Mulugu ZP Chief Kusuma Jagadish died of cardiac arrest.

Otherwise, he would have been the candidate. Now Vice Chairman Bade Nagajyothi is likely to get the ticket.

The party is reportedly discussing the ticket for Dornakal which is held by DS Redya Naik and Mahbubabd which is held by Banoth Shankar Nayak. MP Maloth Kavitha’s name is being suggested as she might contest this time.

A BRS leader said, “Generally, it is reserved constituencies which will see change. Even if the party has no negative image, if there is negativity against the candidate it will affect vote share. In such cases there will be change. As the CM said maximum seats will be given to sitting MLAs. But reserved constituencies may see change.”
