In a significant development, a new political party named ‘Mana Rajyam’ has emerged in Andhra Pradesh, aiming to empower the people based on voting percentages and population ratios. The party’s inaugural public meeting was held under the leadership of its founder president, Dasari Chennakesavulu, at the Gymkhana Ground in Vijayawada on Saturday. Chennakesvulu addressed the gathering, outlining the party’s key objectives, which include ensuring the full implementation of constitutional rights, providing free education up to the highest level of academic pursuit, extending corporate-level healthcare to all citizens, and generating employment opportunities for the populace.

During his speech, Chennakesvulu criticised the current political landscape in Andhra Pradesh, wherein two dominant families are embroiled in a power struggle, often exacerbating caste tensions. He also expressed concern over the cancellation of constitutional welfare schemes by the present YSR Congress government and the alleged diversion of Rs 49,000 crore from the ST Sub-Plan funds. He said that Mana Rajyam Party is an inclusive platform that welcomes people from all castes and backgrounds.

Addressing recent incidents of attacks on Christians in Manipur, Chennakesvulu clarified that the party considers them to be a conspiracy rather than a failure of the Central government.

Despite adverse weather conditions with heavy rainfall, the inaugural meeting witnessed an impressive turnout of Mana Rajyam Party cadres and leaders from across the state. As a symbolic gesture, the trailer of the film ‘Mana Rajyam Stahapana Kosam’ was unveiled, with active participation from the party leaders.

With the launch of Mana Rajyam Party, the political landscape in Andhra Pradesh is set to witness a fresh wave of ideologies and approaches towards governance and societal well-being.
