Telugu Desam Party (TDP) senior leader Kanna Lakshminarayana has expressed strong objection to the derogatory remarks made by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy against opposition leaders, including Chandrababu Naidu, during the ‘Netanna Nestham’ programme. He claimed that the people of the State are becoming increasingly discontented with CM Jagan’s anti-democratic actions and are gearing up to remove him from power.
Lakshminarayana went on to criticise Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, stating that he had shamelessly used his family members, such as his father, mother, and sister, as political tools to secure his position of power.
The Telugu Desam leader argued that Jagan’s unwarranted criticism of Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are entirely inappropriate and lack any basis. Moreover, he strongly objected to Jagan using public funds to organise meetings and then using those platforms to insult Opposition leaders, especially Chandrababu Naidu.
According to Lakshminarayana, CM Jagan’s actions stem from a fear of defeat in upcoming elections. He asserted that the people of Andhra Pradesh would demand accountability from Jagan Mohan Reddy and question his accomplishments for the state and its citizens during his four-year tenure. The senior Telugu Desam leader also noted that just as Jagan is eagerly anticipating the elections, the people are equally enthusiastic about bringing him down from power.
Kanna Lakshminarayana accused Jagan of resorting to personal attacks and political conspiracies to demean Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan. He confidently predicted that Jagan Mohan Reddy’s actions would lead to his defeat in the next election.
