Union Tourism Minister Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy said that he had spoken to Union Home Minister Amit Shah about the floods in Telangana.
He said that Amit Shah had promised all possible help for carrying out relief operations.
In a tweet regarding this on Thursday, Kishan said, “Spoke to Union Minister of Home Affairs @AmitShah ji on the flood situation in Telangana.
He has promised all possible help for rescue and relief operations. At pressnt two helicopters are in service. Five NDRF teams have also been deployed for rescue and relief. Rescue of stranded people is underway.”
Earlier, Kishan had tweeted, “Had a telephonic talk with the Union Home Secretary on the flood situation in Telangana.
He informed that the Centre has deployed helicopters and relief operations through Central agencies including@NDRFHQ.
The Centre has assured to extend all help to the people of Telangana.”
