An amount of Rs. 5.11cr has been donated to TTD. About nine donors, led by LAC president of TN, Sekhar Reddy, handed over the DD for the amount to TTD Trust Board Chairman YV Subba Reddy at Annamaiah Bhavan on Monday.
The amount has been contributed toward the proposed purchase of land for the expansion of the existing Venkateswara Swamy temple in Venkatanarayana Road at T Nagar in Chennai.
Earlier, a few donors have already donated Rs 8,15,15,002 towards the purchase of this proposed land.
Among the donors who contributed the amount on Monday include Rs.1.50 cr from Rapidcare Grp., Rs 1 cr each by Venkata Subramanyam and family, Nagarajan and family, CR Constructions from Coimbatore, Rs 20 lakh each by Sreesaran, Shenbagamurty, Rs 10 lakh each by Naresh Subrahmanyam, Balaha Chemicals(P) Ltd, Rs 1 lakh by Neeladri Packings.
TTD EO AV Dharma Reddy, and members of the Trust Board were also present.
