Yatra may hit Congress campaign in Munugode

After the setback caused by the statement of Komatireddy Venkata Reddy, the Congress is likely to face another problem at the fag end of the Munugode poll campaign.Former AICC president Rahul Gandhi’s Bharath Jodo Yatra may affect the Congress campaign in Munugode. Rahul’s Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Telangana on Sunday. Due to Diwali Rahul has taken a break from his Yatra for three days and has left for New Delhi.

Rahul’s Yatra will resume on October 27 and it will last 16 days in Telangana. During his Bharat Jodo Yatra Rahul will walk 375 km in Telangana in 16 days covering 19 Assembly constituencies and seven Lok Sabha constituencies.

Rahul’s Yatra will be going on in Telangana as the Munugode campaign hits its peak. Congress leaders are likely to join Rahul’s Yatra to get his attention and to take pictures with him.

Even though the Congress leadership have told party leaders involved in the Munugode campaign not to join Rahul’s Yatra and to concentrate on the campaign most leaders are planning to walk with Rahul during his Yatra.
