YSRCP Women’s Wing working president and MLC Varudu Kalyani has alleged that JSP chief Pawan Kalyan is always acting as per the directions of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and that the duo are trying to mislead the people of Andhra Pradesh. Addressing the media persons on Wednesday, the MLC said that the courts in movies were different from reality and that it was not like acting in a remake (Vakeelsaab) movie. She questioned PK if he was daring enough for a debate on ‘JSP activists’ evil deeds’.
She asked PK if he could take action against Hindupur MLA Balakrishna or former minister P Narayana who misbehaved with his sister-in-law.
The MLC said that the party was always ready for the elections and asked in how many constituencies he could field candidates. In Jana Sena Women’s Wing, they boast of many things but the women in JSP lacked security. She pointed out that the JSP chief never organised a meeting to discuss the wellbeing of women.
“Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is providing more security to women in the State than that they get from their families. Under the governance of CM Jagan, women are given top priority and development.
She alleged that PK was criticising the women in the State under the directions of Chandrababu. Under CM Jagan’s rule, 1500 women police personnel were given jobs. Can the JSP or TDP tell how many women were given jobs by them?
She asked Pawan whether he had the guts to ask PM Modi about 4,65,171 women and girls who were reported missing in the country between 2019 and 21. After the Disha incident took place in Telangana State, Disha law came into force in Andhra Pradesh to ensure the safety of women.
She alleged that Pawan Kalyan was following adopted father Chandrababu’s directions by telling lies repeatedly. When Dr YSR was alive, not a single case was filed against Jagan Mohan Reddy and after the demise of the great leader, false cases were filed.
She warned PK not to daydream about becoming the CM, and told him to first win as an MLA. PK was frustrated that Jagan Mohan Reddy had become CM and he could not win as a legislator despite contesting from two places.
She said that the YSRCP government led by Jagan had empowered women beyond the quota provided by the Constitution of India.
