Parents and relatives of a Class four student staged a protest at a private hospital after the boy died while undergoing treatment in Kaghaznagar. They alleged the body died because of the failure of the doctors and hospital staff in providing care to the body in time.
The boy, Saketh, from Laggam village under Dahegaon mandal in the district, was admitted to hospital as he took ill. The boy died in hospital while undergoing treatment.
The parents and relatives of the boy staged a protest and demanded that the police book a case of negligence against the doctors and health staff concerned, besides the management of the hospital. They withdrew the protest after the police promised to investigate the incident. The police registered a case based on a complaint made by Saketh’s parents. The boy was admitted to the hospital a few days ago as he suffered a high fever. The boy’s parents and relatives alleged that the doctors in the hospital failed to provide care to the body.
