Declaring that there were sycophants of KCR in all government departments, TPCC President Revanth Reddy made it clear that they will certainly write their names in the party’s ‘Red Book’ and will take action against them after coming to power.
“We will not let go officials who filed false cases against Congress leaders to please the BRS government,” Revanth warned. He said that he was speaking about officials like Prabhakar Rao, Radha Kishan Rao, Bhujanga Rao, Narsing Rao and others.
During a chit-chat with journos on Friday at the Gandhi Bhavan, Revanth said that he would always respect officials who work for the people.
“How can we remain silent regarding officials who issue statements saying that KCR will win the next election? What connection has these officials with politics?” he said.
Criticising the BRS government for speaking about schemes in a hurry, Revanth asked how the government which failed to complete projects in the last 10 years will complete them in the next two months.
He said that BRS leaders can now purchase land costing Rs 100 crore an acre, but the poor remained poor in the state. Why is the government not revealing the names of companies who purchased lands in Kokapet and Budvel, he asked and added that it was BRS leaders and KCR’s proxies who purchased lands in Kokapet and Budvel.
He said that BRS leaders enacted a wonderful drama to create an artificial real estate boom in the state.
Responding to the removal of his security cover, Revanth said that the BRS government is not providing security even after the High Court directed the government to do so.
“I am an MP and the state president of a national party. How can the government remove my security cover? We provided full security to KCR when the Congress was in power. I am a public person and I don’t need security. I will move anywhere without security. Can KCR visit Osmania or Kakatiya University without security?” he asked.
Revanth said that KCR used the police to defeat him. “I am not afraid regarding security cover. The lakhs of Congress activists are my security guards,” he said.
He said that the Congress will not allow any difference between the majority and minority. Many minority leaders in the Congress are occupying big posts. But the BRS did nothing for minorities. Not even one per cent of double-bedroom houses were given to minorities, he said.
The TPCC President said that the BRS’ ‘Car’ has changed to ‘Lotus’ after the ‘Car’ reached New Delhi. He said that voting for the BRS is voting for the BJP. All minorities are looking towards the Congress as the BRS and the BJP are not different.
He said that he is ready to tell people in temples, mosques and churches that the Congress is the only party fighting the BJP.
