Erabelli Dayakar Rao invited Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to attend the opening of the Sri Sita Rama Temple in Palakurthi in September.
He told the CM that Chinna Jeeyar Swamy will also attend the function.
Highly placed BRS sources said, “Dayakar Rao invited the CM directly and said that Jeeyar Swamy will also come.
KCR said he won’t come if Jeeyar Swamy is coming.”
Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy on Monday visited the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Yadagirigutta on the occasion of Naga Panchami and conducted special pujas.
Chinna Jeeyar was visiting the temple for the first time after its reopening in March 2022.
In fact, the pontiff last visited the temple in 2021.
After a reported rift with KCR over a year ago, the Jeeyar’s visit to Yadagirigutta assumed significance along with My Home Rameshwar Rao who donated five kg gold for gold plating the temple’s ‘Vimana Gopuram’.
He would also donate Rs 5 crore for constructing a Kalyana Mandapam.
