Hyderabad: TPCC President Revanth Reddy said that former United AP Chief Minister, the late YS Rajashekhar Reddy, was a great leader and an ideal one. YSR is the one and only leader of the 21st century and his friend KVP Ramachandra Rao is the only one who continued to strive for YSR’s ideas, Revanth said.
Addressing the gathering at the ‘Raithe Rajaithe’ book release function held on Saturday, Revanth said, “We cannot see a leader like YSR now as YSR was an era and an experience. We will bring back YSR’s welfare rule by bringing Congress to power.”
He said that YSR became PCC president at the age of 34. The Congress is still running on the foundations laid by YSR. YSR waited for 20 years to become CM. YSR’s experiences, the ups and downs he faced politically were ideal for all. YSR used to reply with a smile to opposition Members in the Assembly when he was CM, Revanth said.
