K. Ramya Sree
Plot:
Anvita (played by Anushka Shetty) is a headstrong lady who makes her own decisions. She despises relationships and has a tendency to become emotionally distant from those around her. However, she desires a child of her own. In the meantime, Siddhu Polishetty (Naveen Polishetty) and Anvita become close. Anvita approaches Siddhu to be her sperm donor based on the level of their friendship. These events form the basis of the entire film.
Performances:
We must applaud Anushka Shetty’s grace throughout the entire movie as a stiff woman. After quite a long time, she has made her big-screen comeback. With her role in the film, she offers a whole new appeal to the screen. For women in particular, it was enjoyable to watch her portray Anvita on screen; Anushka’s portrayal of the character and its depth were motivational.
Naveen Polishetty just nailed it, once again. He was very impromptu in his stand-up comedy routines and made a lot of people laugh. His performance will relieve you of all the stress. Given their extensive expertise, veteran actors Jayasudha and Murali Sharma performed an excellent job playing characters from a typical family. Abhinav Gomatam receives another significant role, and he produces funny material with accurate timing.
Analysis: Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty’s tale is unquestionably unique. Younger audiences will undoubtedly find it appealing because it is new. The film starts out slowly, taking its own time to establish the overall ambiance. Once the real plot is established, the comedy serves as a relief. Although Anushka and Naveen’s pairing is highly novel, not everyone will approve of it. But based on the narrative, they appeared to get along well.
The writing and dialogues are impressive. The conversation throughout the film was excellent.
And not just comedy; the movie also has a layer of emotional touch, and it is very well presented.
The cinematography was very clean and neat; however, the editing and narration in the second half felt slow. Especially in the second half, the audience will feel the lag. The music disappoints.
The movie has managed to address topics like feminism, single parenthood, and more in addition to comedy and romance. It is rather energizing to see such a contemporary movie in Telugu theaters.
Conclusion: Overall, the movie is wonderfully executed and presented. The comedy in the film is clean and well-done, and it also hits on some significant issues.
