Taneti hands over financial assistance

Home Minister Taneti Vanita handed over financial assistance to two bereaved families in her camp office in Kovvur on Thursday.
The Home Minister handed over a cheque for Rs 5 lakh as financial assistance to Nimmagadda Hima Varalakshmi of Kalavalapalli village in Chagallu mandal. Nimmagadda Suribabu died of ill health recently.
She handed over a Rs 1 lakh cheque to Guduri Mani of  Nandigama as financial assistance. Mani’s 18-year-old son was killed in a road accident five months ago. Similarly, Rs 1 lakh financial assistance was extended to Guduri Mani under CMRF.
Speaking on the occasion, Home Minister Taneti Vanita said that the government comes forward to extend a helping hand to the bereaved families. Though losing family members is painful, the government extends financial assistance to help the bereaved families, she said.
