Will bestow rights on assigned lands: KCR

Must read

Confident of retaining power, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said that the first decision of the new BRS government would be giving rights to assigned lands.
The Chief Minister said that Telangana government employees are getting the highest salaries in India. “We appointed a PRC. Let’s give a good PRC again, let’s give DAs generously,” said KCR.
“We merged the RTC with the government. The moment our government is formed we will launch the process of merging the TSRTC into government service and it would be done within a month,” he said.
KCR made it clear that once the government is formed it is his responsibility to clear the GO: 111 problem within two months. He said that there is little work left on GO: 111 and it will be completed as we already have lifted restrictions as promised during the last elections.
“As the area is adjacent to Hyderabad, a master plan should be prepared so that it will be connected to Hyderabad again. It will be cleared in a few days or within 15 days. You need not doubt about it,” he said.
“After December 3, our government is going to come back. From December 6 onwards we will release Rythu Bandhu funds happily,” he said.
Describing the Congress’ move as ‘mean,’ KCR said there are leaders and cadres of that party who would also get benefits under the Rythu Bandhu scheme.
The BRS manifesto promises that the amount disbursed under the programme will be increased to Rs 16,000 gradually if the party is voted to power again in the November 30 polls.
Continuing his attack on the Congress, KCR alleged that it had merged Telangana with Andhra Pradesh without the consent of the people here and as a result, TS people suffered.
Pointing to the Congress’ promise to bring back ‘Indiramma Rajyam’ (rule of former PM Indira Gandhi), he sought to know who wanted it and what good happened during her reign.
“Why did NTR (former United AP Chief Minister NT Rama Rao) float a party and offer rice for Rs 2 a kg if Indiramma Rajyam had been good,” he asked.
He urged people to compare the 50 years of Congress rule with the 10 years of the BRS government before voting.
He assured that if the BRS comes back to power documents for ‘Assigned Lands’ will be given to beneficiaries.
