Government Advisor on Public Affairs and YSRCP State general secretary, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, has lauded Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the transparent and corruption-free delivery of welfare schemes to beneficiaries. He said that the initiatives, following in the footsteps of the late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, are implemented without bias toward caste, religion, or politics.
Highlighting CM Jagan as a leader true to his promises, Sajjala asserted that welfare schemes have been extended to all communities, with every manifesto commitment fulfilled. Commending Jagan as a leader who ensures comprehensive implementation, Reddy dismissed claims that the government’s welfare and development programmes faced baseless criticism from the TDP-backed media.
Denouncing what he deemed as unfounded attacks against CM Jagan, Sajjala accused the ‘yellow’ media of crossing ethical boundaries to support the TDP and spreading false propaganda, including claims that numerous schemes have been halted. Challenging former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan to identify any discontinued schemes, he questioned the TDP’s track record during their five-year tenure.
In response to allegations about the YSRCP halting TDP-initiated schemes, Sajjala questioned Chandrababu Naidu’s implementation of schemes from 2014-2018, citing instances such as purported free sand distribution leading to environmental issues and financial penalties.
Accusing TDP leaders of looting State revenue through illegal sand mining, Sajjala contrasted it with the transparent implementation of schemes by the current YSRCP government.
Sajjala defended the ongoing Samajika Sadhikara Bus Yatra, claiming overwhelming public support despite false propaganda by the TDP and yellow media regarding empty seats.
