A science project by Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan student A. Haricharan has secured him a coveted spot at the upcoming national-level science exhibition organised by the Central Board of School Education (CBSE) in Delhi in 2024.
Haricharan’s project, named PhotoVoltaic Agribot, impressed judges at the regional science exhibition held at Nalanda Vidyaniketan in Vijayawada earlier this year. It stood out among 52 submissions from 30 schools across the State, earning its place as Andhra Pradesh’s representative at the national level.
The Photo Voltaic Agribot is a device designed to convert light into electricity, offering valuable assistance to farmers in ploughing, sowing, and irrigation. This innovative solution has the potential to significantly impact agriculture by improving efficiency and reducing reliance on traditional methods. Haricharan’s talent and dedication have been recognised not only at the regional level but also nationally. His participation in the CBSE exhibition provides him with a valuable platform to showcase his invention to a wider audience and potentially inspire other young minds to pursue their own scientific endeavors.
In response to Haricharan’s achievement, Sri Chitturi Vasu Prakash, Director of Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, expressed heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for the talented student. He remarked, “Haricharan’s success is a testament to the spirit of innovation and excellence that we strive to cultivate at Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan. We are immensely proud of his accomplishment and are confident that his invention will leave a lasting impact at the national level in Delhi.”
