The rehearsal witnessed a manageable turnout on Beach Road, allowing spectators to fully immerse themselves in the awe-inspiring manoeuvres without the usual crowds. Vigilant police personnel ensured the smooth traffic flow along the Beach Road, further enhancing the viewing experience.
Witnesses were treated to the sight of helicopters gracefully hovering above the shoreline, capturing videos and photographs from various vantage points. Fighter aircraft executed close-range passes, crisscrossing in a circular path across the sky, leaving both children and adults in awe. A designated commentary box provided insights to the spectators, enhancing their understanding of the tactical manoeuvres performed by the Indian Navy’s fighter aircraft.
The aerobatic formations of warplanes in the sky were complemented by a skydiving display from the Marine Commandos, captivating the gathering. After jumping from aircraft, the commandos executed flawless parachute landings on the beach sand.
The Search and Rescue (SAR) operations, featuring three helicopters and Marine Commandos, added a dynamic element to the demonstration. Warships and submarines, approaching the coast and firing flares into the sky, contributed to the vibrant spectacle.
The operational demo concluded with a spectacular illumination of the ships at dusk, leaving the audience in awe. The sight of these majestic vessels, bathed in a warm glow, was a fitting finale to the rehearsal.
