Vja to host badminton tourney

NTR District Collector Dr S Dilli Rao has asked the officials concerned to work collectively for the conduct of the 67th School Games Federation of India (SGFI) Inter-State Badminton Championship for under-19 boys and girls that will take place from December 12 to 16. Vijayawada city will host the prestigious championship that will have participation of around 700 people including players, officials, coaches, etc. from across the country. Dilli Rao convened a meeting with district-level officials on Friday to discuss the arrangements for the championship. Around 500 badminton players will be coming from all States and Union Territories for this tournament.
