BJP leader Karuna meets two central ministers issues in Malkajgiri constituency

BJP leader Karuna Gopal Vartakavi met two Cabinet ministers in New Delhi on Sunday to request their intervention for solving civic infrastructure issues in Malkajgiri MP constituency.
She met Union Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw and discussed problems of closure of Safilguda level-crossing (LC 254), its impact on traffic movement. She urged the Minister to also fast track the MMTS Phase II project; the proposed project between Moula-Ali and Hitech City via Sanathnagar.
In a meeting with Union Minister for Housing and Urban Development Hardeep Singh Puri, she requested extension of the current Metro Rail network to areas like Malkajgiri, ECIL, Trimulgherry, Bowenpally and Bollaram. This would result in even development of the city and facilitate a hassle-free fast travel for the commuters. Karuna Gopal also discussed expansion of Ramakrishn puram flyover from two lanes to four lanes to ease out the traffic flow.
Receiving the representation from Karuna Gopal, Ashwini Vaishnaw immediately instructed his subordinates to study the issue of LC 254 and resolve it at the earliest while Hardeep Singh Puri promised to look into the representation.
