State Industries Minister Gudivada Amarnath has asserted that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan share a mere owner-contractor relationship in Visakhapatnam. Addressing reporters on Monday, the minister claimed that the dark deals between the two political figures were now coming to light.
Amarnath pointed out that, until recently, Pawan Kalyan enjoyed significant support from the Kapu community, anticipating his ascent to the Chief Minister’s position during his extensive statewide tours. However, Minister Amarnath suggested that Pawan Kalyan’s association with Chandrababu Naidu led to a shift in opinion within the Kapu social class.
Accusing Chandrababu of historical betrayals, Amarnath cited the cases of Vangaveeti Ranga’s killing and the alleged strategy to harm Mudragada Padmanabham as evidence of Chandrababu’s animosity towards the police force.
The minister further claimed a joint plot by Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan to prolong Chiranjeevi’s political career. Amarnath contended that the police, sensing Pawan Kalyan’s plan to hand them over wholesale to Chandrababu, made a strategic decision to keep the two leaders apart.
