Jeevan Reddy says BRS govt handed over paddy to millers without security

Alleging that the previous BRS government deceived the farmers, Congress lone MLC T Jeevan Reddy slammed the previous government saying that it handed over Rs.20,000 crore worth paddy to the millers without security. Jeevan Reddy made it clear that he will take the issue of handing over the Rs 20,000 crore worth paddy to millers to the notice of the government.
While speaking to the media at Jagtial on Tuesday along with Government Whip Adluri Laxman Kumar, Jeevan Reddy assured that the Congress government will initiate steps to see that there would not be problems to the farmers during acquiring foodgrains. He slammed the previous Government of playing to the tune of the millers’ acts. He alleged that every miller sold Rs 4 crore worth paddy on their own.  He alleged that the former CM KCR failed to protect the interests of Telangana.
Jeevan Reddy advised former MP B Vinod Kumar to speak only after thinking. Jeevan Reddy found fault with Vinod Kumar for stating that BRS achieved separate Telangana State waging a fight against the Centre. Jeevan Reddy alleged that Vinod Kumar had forgotten the fact that they handed over the 7 mandals to Andhra Pradesh against the rights of Telangana. Jeevan Reddy made it clear that the Telangana State was formed with the sacrifices of the Congress party.
