Collector underlines need for conservation of electricity

District Collector AS Dinesh Kumar underlined the need of conservation  of power supply.
The Collector flagged a rally taken out as part of Conversation Week 2023 programme here on Wednesday. The rally began at CPDCLS office and went through Rajadhani centre, Nellore bus station centre, Collector’s office and ended at Church centre.
A human chain was formed at the Church centre. The participants took a pledge that they would conserve electricity.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, the Collector said that the use of non-conventional fuel should increase in electricity consumption.
As per Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s wish, India should become a carbon emission free country by 2075, he said adding that all should work together to achieve the goal. APCPDCL S.E. Satyanarayana, EEs and other officers participated in the programme.
