No freedom of expression in Modi rule: Deputy CM

Must read

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has stated that arrests and cases if questioned and suspension from Parliament are examples that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rule is going on dictatorially and without freedom of expression.
While participating in a dharna at Indira Park on Friday as part of the INDIA Alliance call given for nation-wide protests against the suspension of 146 MPs from Parliament, Bhatti said that the attack on Parliament is to be considered as an attack on democracy and Constitution.
“How the BJP rulers will protect the nation who failed to protect Parliament?’, he questioned, saying that Prime Minister Narendra Modi left the protection of the nation to the wind.
“It is shameful on the part of the BJP-led NDA government for suspending the members when they questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to answer their questions regarding attack on Parliament. The people have to think how much the image of the nation eroded across the world with the attack on Parliament. It is painful that the PM and Union Home Minister and other Ministers are maintaining silence as if nothing has happened. It is atrocious that the BJP government suspended 146 members and it has never happened in the history of the nation,” he said.
Bhatti alleged that the BJP came to the power by provoking the emotions of the people of the nation by creating small incidents at borders of the nation before the elections, but the BJP has no intention to protect democracy and the Constitution.
