Sharmila may be appointed as AICC observer for AP elections

The Congress high command may give the AICC general secretary position to the YSRTP president YS Sharmila.
According to sources, Sharmila is going to Delhi on Wednesday or on Thursday to meet the Congress party high command to discuss in this regard. The sources said that Sharmila will merge her party after the discussions with Congress party high command.
It is learnt that the high command may appoint Sharmila as an observer of the Andhra Pradesh State in view of coming elections. Andhra Pradesh has to face LS polls as well as Assembly polls in the new year 2024.
The party sources made it clear that she will not accept the APCC president post as rumours are doing rounds in social media. Sharmila wants to remain as a Telangana leader only, the sources informed.
