BJP: Is Cong blackmailing BRS?

BJP General Secretary P. Muralidhar Rao asked whether the Congress is blackmailing the BRS to compromise on the CBI probe into the Kaleshwaram scam.
“There are two things I have raised. When the Congress was campaigning, they demanded a CBI probe into various scandals, but after coming to power, the CM is backtracking on that and is saying that the CBI has no reputation.
Then why were you talking about the CBI earlier? Are you trying to create a situation so that you can arrive at an adjustment with the BRS  and blackmail the BRS to compromise with you? The BJP will not allow that. The public money wasted must be accounted for and the CBI is the appropriate agency for that,” he said.
“Is the Congress using corruption as a weapon to keep the BRS under control to advance its political agenda? Is there a match-fixing between the two parties?” Muralidhar asked.
On the attack on the ED team in West Bengal on Friday, the BJP leader said, “There is a systematic, planned, orchestrated campaign against Central agencies like the ED, the CBI and the I-T department. Attacking government institutions cannot be accepted in a democracy. These parties cannot be called responsible. The BJP condemns this. Ultimately, they will have to face these things tomorrow,” he said.
