Jeevan asks Govt to remove ENC Muralidhar immediately

The Congress has asked its government to remove ENC Muralidhar from his post immediately as Muralidhar is trying to defend the decisions of the previous BRS government.
Facts regarding the Kaleshwaram scam will come out if Muralidhar is removed as many officials had a hand in the scam, Congress MLC T. Jeevan Reddy said.
Asking the government not to limit the judicial inquiry to the Kaleshwaram scam, he asked the government to order a judicial inquiry into the scams in Yadadri, Mission Bhagiratha and land allocations.
Speaking to the media at the Gandhi Bhavan on Monday, Jeevan said that the BJP and the BRS are joining hands to block the judicial inquiry into the Kaleshwaram scam.
He said that a judicial inquiry is better than a CBI inquiry as the CBI is controlled by the Centre and as the judicial inquiry will be fair. The Congress government is ordering a judicial inquiry to conduct the probe transparently, he added. Pointing out that the Centre made the Enforcement Directorate (ED) bury BRS MLC Kavitha’s illicit liquor case he said that the BJP is demanding a CBI inquiry to bury KCR’s corruption.
The Congress MLC said that corruption during KCR’s rule amounted to Rs 1 lakh crore and that the Kaleshwaram scam is part of that.
He said that corrupt deals worth Rs 50,000 crore took place while executing the Kaleshwaram, Yadadri and Mission Bhagiratha schemes.
Criticising BRS Working President KT Rama Rao for saying that the Congress government was scrapping existing schemes, Jeevan asked KTR to reveal whether he had implemented BC Bandhu and Minority Bandhu schemes.
He said that people voted out the BRS as it did not provide BC Bandhu and Minority Bandhu schemes. He lashed out at KTR saying that the BRS never bothered about the people and was immersed in corruption while in power.
