Telangana Mahila Congress on Tuesday appealed to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to give priority to women leaders in filling nominated posts. The district presidents and State office-bearers gave their profiles to Telangana Mahila Congress president Sunitha Rao seeking nominated posts. She handed over the biodatas of women leaders to the TPCC working president (Organisation) and newly elected MLC B Mahesh Kumar Goud.
Sunitha Rao said that every woman leader and activist would strive for the victory of the Congress party candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. She asked the party leaders to explain to the people about the implementation of the 6-guarantees. She suggested that the women leaders meet and talk to everyone and every voter.
The state executive committee meeting, in which Mahesh Kumar Goud, MLC Balmoor Venkat Narsing Rao and All India Mahila Congress general secretary Hasina participated, discussed several issues. The meeting suggested to the party leadership that District Committees, Bloc Committees, Division Committees, Mandal Committees, Town Committees and Ward Committees be constituted.
