At the Lord’s disposal

One has to be a gem among officials to successfully implement the Andhra Pradesh government’s Navaratnalu Pedalandariki Illu scheme. They have to face adamantine walls of difficulties to have their way, be it pooling lands or identifying beneficiairies. Still, Dr Lakshmisha, as MD of the AP State Housing Corporation Limited, managed to build in time around five lakh houses that were inaugurated by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy in Samarlakota some time back. No wonder, in Sunday’s reshuffle, Dr K Lakshmisha was elevated as the District Collector, Tirupati, putting him, so to speak, at the disposal of Lord Venkateswara.
