Chief Minister Revanth Reddy met minority community representatives at the Secretariat on Saturday.
The minority representatives appealed to the CM to ensure that the four per cent reservation for Muslims is implemented. They demanded that adequate funds should be allotted for the development of Muslim schools, protect Waqf lands and ensure that peace
is not disturbed.
The CM assured that he takes responsibility for solving all the problems of minorities.
Government advisors Shabbir Ali, Vem Narender Reddy and minority representatives from various districts were present at the meeting.
Meanwhile, MLA Balu Naik and former MLC Ramulu Naik submitted a petition to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy requesting that a committee should be set up for the Sewalal festival, allot adequate funds and organise the Sevalal festival on behalf of the government.
