BRS President and opposition leader K Chandrasekhar Rao upset hid own party MLAs by not attending the ongoing Assembly session. With the statements of BRS top leaders such as “Twaralone simham bayatiki vosthundi” ( the lion will come out soon), “Sarosthunnaru” ( Sir is coming), the party MLAs thought that KCR will attend the Assembly session.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is lashing out at the previous BRS government and KCR in every context in the Assembly. During the session, usually sometimes if the Chief Minister is not in the seat, the Opposition leader demands his presence in the Assembly. But now surprisingly, the Chief Minister is demanding the presence of the Opposition leader in the Assembly.
Senior BRS MLAs like KT Rama Rao, T Harish Rao, Kadiyam Srihari and others are giving counter attack to the Chief Minister in the Assembly. The BRS MLAs thought that KCR will give a fitting counter attack to the Chief Minister in the Assembly. But KCR upset them by not attending the Assembly. The counter attack of KCR on the Chief Minister would have been different from the counter attack by his party MLAs.
While not attending the Assembly is upsetting the party MLAs, at the same time KCR is giving scope for others to criticise him. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is repeatedly saying that KCR did not go to the Secretariat as a Chief Minister. Now, he is not attending the Assembly as an Opposition leader. The Chief Minister’s voice against KCR is is being loud and clear.
During the Assembly session, attending the Nalgonda public meeting organised by his party also attracted further criticism against KCR. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy commented that, “instead KCR ran away from the Assembly to Nalgonda.” The Congress Ministers are also criticising that KCR has no guts to face the government. After the recent Telangana Assembly elections the first Assembly session was held in the December last.
