Telangana Government Whip and Dharmapuri MLA Adluri Lakshman Kumar and two of his gunmen sustained minor injuries in the wee hours of Monday when the car in which he was travelling from Hyderabad to Dharmapuri turned turtle at Amberpet in Yendapallimandal of Jagityal district.
The accident took place when the driver of the MLA’s car tried to avoid an oncoming lorry.
Lakshman Kumar was first admitted to the Government Hospital in Karimnagar. After rendering the first-aid there, he was rushed to Hyderabad for better treatment.
The road from Karimnagar to Luxettipeta was full of ditches causing frequent road accidents.
