Praja Vani programme organized at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Praja Bhavan got 1,203 applications on Friday.
As part of Praja Vani programme, 16 counters have been set up in Praja Bhavan to receive applications from people. Complaints were received by the Revenue, Police, Municipal, Civil Supplies, Panchayat Raj, Health, Employment, Education, SC,ST, BC, Minority, Women Child Welfare, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Industries, Forest, Electricity, Irrigation and Endowments departments. It has been made easier for people to submit their applications to the authorities by setting up special counters in the branches.
Special Officer of Praja Vani, D Divya and other officers received the applications from the public. The authorities are taking steps to forward the applications received from the public to the departments concerned for appropriate action.
