Uttam contradicting Rahul on defections: Harish

BRS leader Harish Rao gave a strong counter to the comments made by ministers on BRS chief KCR.
He said that it is not right to talk about KCR when all that he is doing is talking about farmers’ problems. Harish said that if KCR goes to the people, ministers will not be able to sleep.
“Uttam says that 25 BRS MLAs are joining the Congress. Uttam, aren’t you ashamed? Rahul says in his manifesto that people from other parties should not be included in the party. Congress Ministers in the state are saying that they will accept MLAs of other parties. Congress will not come back to power after five years. The Congress will not come back to power even if the sun rises in the west. Do as much as you like but note that we will pay you back with interest,” he said.
Harish warned that we will not let you go until the promises given in your election manifesto are implemented.
On defections, he said, “The Congress, which is the mother ship that promoted the “Aaya Ram, Gaya Ram” culture of political defections in India seems to have had a big change of heart. We welcome their noble proposal on amending the 10th schedule to ensure automatic disqualification of MLAs/MPs if they defect. But as always, the Congress preaches something but does the exact opposite. In Telangana, recently they announced an LS ticket to one BRS MLA and also admitted another BRS MLA, both of whom are still hanging on to their seats. Rahul Ji, Why don’t you prove that you are not a party of hypocrites? Make both these defectors resign or let the speaker disqualify them and prove to the country that you practice what you preach.”
