It is commonly known that the gorgeous Anjali, who is now referred to as Geethanjali in the city, has become a trendsetter! Geethanjali Malli Vachindi is the movie that’s all the rage right now. The film is directed by Siva Thurlapati, and it is produced by Kona Venkat of Kona Films Corporation and MVV Cinemas. This is Anjali’s 50th film; therefore, it’s really meaningful to her. On April 11, the high-budget horror comedy will be released. We’re sharing a few bytes from Anjali’s media interview with you from Hyderabad!
Amazingly, Eegai fame observes, “They are making films that start with the letter ‘G’ exclusively. Geethanjali Malli Vachindi was the one at first. Films on Gangs of Godavari and Game Changer will now be released as well. The three movie’ genres are different, though.”
The leading actress did, however, have a point: “The Game Changer movie announcement came out before anything else. However, it was late. Although it began production later than Gangs of Godavari and Geethanjali Malli Vachindi, it was decided that it would be released earlier. In all three movies, I play various parts.” “Kona Venkat said the idea of the movie Geethanjali Malli Vachindi began four years ago,” she continues, providing a bit more information. “However, it was not possible because I was busy and the other actors in this movie were also busy. Corona appeared in between as well. So, that wasn’t the right time to go for the sequel.”
The lead actress goes on, though, “Since this is a sequel, the old characters cannot be changed. Thus, we added additional characters to the narrative. Ali, Satya, and Sunil. The sequel begins where part one finishes. The sequel will make sense even to those who haven’t seen the first installment.”
Moreover, Game Changer star states that “a debut director helmed the film. Furthermore, the sequel is also now being directed by the debut filmmaker. Since director Siva Turlapatigaru also works as a choreographer on the movie Geetanjali, he is familiar with shot division. Thus, directing is not hard. However, I think he has given it his all because it’s a difficult sequel.” Everyone had a sense of humour on the stes, even Satyam Rajesh and Srinivas Reddy. She was working on this movie with Sunil. Together, they all attempted to make the audience laugh.
Also, “The film contains just the right amount of humour and horror. For this reason, the original film was well received by the public when it was released. When it comes to sequels, they can never be changed. Technology is a recent development. We’ve struck a balance between humor and horror.”
Anjali shares, “I am doing different movies for roles that I have not done till now,” on a personal note. “I took part in the climax as well. If I pursue acting as a career, I have no interest in doing so. To be as new as possible is what I aim to do. Geethanjali Malli Vachindi, my 50th movie, makes me joyful. It feels like a duty if everyone keeps this in mind. I believe I’ve worked on 50 movies, savouring the trip.”
