State Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana has said that Andhra Pradesh has been at the forefront of development across various sectors over the past five years under the leadership of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Speaking to the media here on Monday, Botsa Satyanarayana emphasised the State’s significant advancements in education, healthcare, agriculture, and industry, citing reports from Niti Aayog, central agencies, and GDP rankings which have elevated Andhra Pradesh to the forefront of development in the country.Responding to recent comments made by Prashant Kishor, the Minister dismissed them as unfortunate and lacking in comprehension. He drew a sharp contrast between the leadership styles of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, who focuses on long-term strategies for public welfare, and that of former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, whom he portrayed as engaging in brokerage and management. The Minister challenged Kishore to confront the tangible evidence of Andhra Pradesh’s progress, including significant reductions in poverty levels, improved education standards surpassing those of Kerala, and the state’s remarkable rise in GDP rankings. He criticized the media’s tendency to sensationalize negative narratives without considering official reports and urged for responsible journalism that respects the achievements of the state. Furthermore, Satyanarayana defended Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership style, emphasizing his commitment to fulfilling promises and translating words into actions. He condemned attempts to tarnish the reputation of IAS and IPS officers and urged the opposition to refrain from baseless allegations that undermine the morale of these officials .In a bold move, Minister Satyanarayana criticized the opposition’s lack of faith in government institutions and urged for accountability and respect for democratic processes. Minister Botsa Satyanarayana reiterated his confidence in Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership and urged the people of Andhra Pradesh to support the YSRCP in the upcoming elections.
